Vacation

I went swimming this summer and played tennis. It was a lot of fun! In tennis I got three glass pyramids because I earned them! I like my tennis coach because he's really a great teacher. In swimming I learned a stroke really well and now I'm able to do it really well. I can swim in the deep end now! More later!

Hey Owen,
Looks as though you are really enjoying your summer vacation from school.
I can't believe how tan you have gotten from swimming and being in the sun each day.
You seem to have grown a few inches taller too.
It is really great to hear that you have learned a new swimming stroke. Keep on practicing and you can show me how well you can swim when we get together in October.
Enjoy the rest of your summer break.
I miss you and love you a lot.

Owen,
You look as though you are really concentrating on hitting that ball in your tennis photograph.
Tennis is a lot of fun and it sounds as though you have a good coach to help you learn how to play the game.
Maybe you will be the next John McEnroy or Pete Sampras?
Did you get a chance to see the Wimbledon tennis matches recently?
Keep on practicing and you may get to play there someday.

Love you lots,

Wow, Owen - cool stuff! Next time I see you we'll have to play some tennis!

I went swimming today too, in the ocean near Boston. Hope all is well. It sounds like you had an awesome birthday party! Are you the new Egyptian Twister champion?

Love,
Auntie Kat.
