Hi everybody! We went to the Citadel which is a castle in Egypt. The Egyptian knights used to live there and they had trap doors, but I couldn't go down any. There's a really big mosque there and Daddy took a picture of me. Look! My favorite part was when Mum and Dad bought me and Jacob some ice cream. Dad said it was as expensive as the antiquities, whatever that means. We saw some tanks from the war between Israel and Egypt, and I thought it would be cool to ride one, but Daddy said I couldn't. Instead we saw the military museum, which was really really long and I couldn't feel my legs by the time I came out. See you next blog!

Hi Owen,
It sounds as if you and your brothers have had a very busy and fun holiday season. It looks like you "monster baby" enjoyed his mushy food. What did it feel like to feed it to him?
Are you glad to be back at school? I bet mommy and daddy are glad to have everyone back on a schedule. Say hi to them for me. Miss you all so much
Love,
Nana
Hey Owen,
I bet that Egyptian castle was fun.A lot of old castles had trap doors so that people could escape. However, I would be a little bit afraid to go into a tunnel at an Egyptian castle for fear of the snakes that could be there.
Some museums are real fun but when you have to walk for miles I can understand that your legs would get tired. Still not to many people get to see that kind of military museum so you are lucky.I am sure that there are a lot more fun things to see while you are in Egypt. Dont forget to tell us all about them.
Lots of love,
Grandad oxoxoxoxoxo
Dear Nana,
Thank you for saying that! He was a monster baby!! Wow!!! That was fun feeding him! I can't wait until the next time. We saw canons and weapons in the castle museum. Don't worry, they didn't really shoot anymore. I wish they did!
Love, Owen
Dear Grandad,
In the castle I felt dizzy because of all the stairs!!! Wow! Where's the elevator when you need it? Well anyway, it was good.
Love, Owen XOXOXOXOXOXO
